Doula support in HRM and surrounding areas
Providing judgment-free, inclusive, and compassionate support to guide you from pregnancy to parenting. Feel confident and fully informed with our experienced birth team.

Our childbirth education series seeks to provide a wholistic overview of pregnancy and birth, to ensure your questions are answered and that you are given the tools to advocate for yourself.

Planning a birth with a certified doula is a deeply personal and intimate experience. We work closely with you to help you understand your unique needs and preferences.

A birth doula provides emotional and physical support during pregnancy, labour, and birth. A doula aims to reduce anxiety and promote confidence throughout the birthing process.

We can help you navigate early parenthood with information and emotional support. We are available to answer questions or concerns, help with feeding, support with establishing sleep routines, and adapting to your new dynamic.
At Atlantic Birth Services, we are committed to providing up to date and evidence-based information to our clients. We believe that every pregnant person deserves respect and autonomy during their pregnancy and parenting journey. You need information to make the best decision for you and your family, and we want to ensure you are fully informed.
We have years of experience in crisis counseling, front-line services, and working with domestic violence survivors. Along with staying up to date on all things birth-related, we maintain certification in First Aid, NVCI, and ASIST to ensure we are equipped with the skills necessary for all situations.
We specialize in difficult family dynamics, and support folks who are low-income, newcomers, unhoused or precariously housed.
As settlers in Mi’kma’ki, we seek to decolonize our work and practice from an anti-racist/anti-oppressive lens. We invite all pregnant people from marginalized communities in Nova Scotia to contact us for low-fee/no fee support.

We service all communities in Nova Scotia remotely.
In-person support is available for clients in Truro, Bible Hill, and surrounding areas.
